WORK EXPERIENCE
2001-Present
During this period, I joined 2 different
firms that were booming residential drywall contractors, and organized a
commercial division within each. I did the estimating, contracted the
sales and acted as project manager. I am currently acting as a
Project Manager and Sales/Estimator for a commercial drywall contractor.
2000-2001
I worked as a sales-estimator in the
roofing business.
1999-2000
I worked as a project manager &
superintendent in the insurance restoration business.
1991 - 2000
I worked as a consultant and construction
manager with an architectural firm on a project by project basis.
1980 - 1991
As principal of a residential remodeling
and commercial finish out company, I sold and managed 15 or more
projects each year. I managed my own crew of full time carpenters
and painters, and other sub-contractors; and I usually had 6 to 10 jobs
running simultaneously.
1991 - 1994
I designed and patented a storage unit
for compact discs. The manufacturing and marketing rights were
sold to a manufacturer in that industry.
