Duties & Responsibilities |
Interested candidate must possess 3+ years of estimating steel
fabrication and erection and must be able to do take offs and do
detailed organized estimate of cost. Experience reading plans and
ability to work in AutoCAD. Prepare cost estimates by • by
analyzing bid documents and specifications. Identify labor,
material and equipment requirements by studying blueprints,
specification and related documents. Present prepared estimate by
compiling numerical and descriptive information.

Desired Qualifications |
This position requires an ability to multitask in a fast paced

Duties & Resposibilities |
Receive customer supplied drawings from salesman. Review
drawings for quantity of stairs, rails, and anything else that may
pertain to SWI's scope of work. Then recap the job, including
the material specs, and turn over to pricing. The estimator will
then be available to the salesman if he has any questions about the
scope. Once sold he will assist the detailing department with
any questions. |

Desired Qualifications |
Be able to read Architectural drawings, some experience with steel a
plus, be familiar with construction practices, be able to work well
with others as well as on his own, have good communication skills.
Working knowledge of EXCEL, Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD a plus. |
